Today is the only day you can go to your local Gamestop or EB Games store to purchase a Nintendo Wii Certificate, which gets you a Wii for $250 for pick up on January 25th.

If you are going to give somebody this Wii Raincheck for Christmas because you did not find a real Wii, I suggest you give that loved one $250 cash instead. That way he or she can try to find a Wii on their own before January 25th 2008.

A couple of days after the New Year, new Wii shipments should come in. If Nintendo is smart they will be quick to convert cash gifted customers to Wii owners before Sony grabs them.


If the Wii is for you and you are sick of running around and thinking about where you can get a Wii for standard retail pricing then go get the Gamestop Wii raincheck and forget about the Wii business the next four weeks.
