Ricavision International, Inc. will officially debut its new VAVE100 Windows SideShow Universal Remote Control.
Ricavision introduced their first Windows SideShow remote control in March of 2007. Besides remote controlling Microsoft Media Centers the new VAVE 100 also supports access to 20 devices through infrared technology.
The remote’s universal functionality features a built-in database of over 1500 worldwide brand names for easy installation using the graphical user interface on the 2.4 inch QVGA color LCD display with 240 x 320 resolution.
Additionally, the VAVE100 lets the user control their Windows SideShow features remotely using Class 1 Bluetooth technology that allows a range of up to 100 meters.
The VAVE 100 Windows SideShow Universal Remote Control will be available for pre-sale in December of 2007 at www.ricavision.com, and from major consumer electronics retailers and e-tailers beginning April of 2008. The VAVE100 will be debuted and showcased at the upcoming 2008 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, January 7-10.
