Taiwanese PC manufacturer MSI brings its GX600 Extreme Edition laptop to the CES 2008.
The overclockable gaming laptop is equipped with MSI’s Turbo Drive Engine (TDE) technology to ensure optimal performance and application compatibility with the most advanced games and applications.
MSI’s exclusive TDE technology enables users to increase the CPU speed up to 20 percent simply by pressing the turbo button on the keyboard while in AC mode. This technology shortens the boot time of the GX600 to less than 40 seconds, compared to traditional laptops that take at least one minute to start up. The GX600 is also equipped with the latest Intel Core 2 Duo Mobile Processor; the newest NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT 3D graphic card; MSI’s VIVID image technology; Dolby approved Digital/Analog 5.1 Channel audio output; a built-in Sony/Philips Digital Interface Format connection; and a High-Definition Multimedia Interface to create audio and visual effects while delivering optimal battery life, dual-core performance, and comprehensive wireless connectivity.
The GX600 Extreme Edition features a flame graphic on its exterior and it measures 10.2 inches wide by 14.1 inches long, and weighs about 6 pounds (battery included).
We already had the chance to go hands-on with the MSI GX600 at the QuakeCon.
CES 2008 will start officially on January 7th, but the first event is already on Saturday. We are in Las Vegas and will be covering the CES 2008 first
hand.
