iRiver shows the UNIT2 networked all-in-one home media device again. iRiver already teased us with the UNIT2 in June.

The device combines hifi audio, DVD player, TV tuner, Wifi access and a detachable display. The display is actually a full fledged PMP with SD card slot. The design of the iRiver LIFE UNIT took some pointers from B&O and features an automatic sliding door to hide the display.

Whether or not iRiver is any closer to actually shipping the UNIT2 is not yet known.

CES 2008 officially starts today. The flood gates to the CES show floor in Las Vegas will open and we get to see all the beautiful new TVs, gadgets and booth babes.
