Alienware Announces Area-51 m15x Notebook

Alienware announced its latest notebook computer today called the Area-51 m15x. The notebook features a 15.4-inch screen and is available with a range of Intel Core 2 Duo or Core 2 Extreme mobile processors.
Graphics on the machine include the new NVIDIA GeForce 8800M GTX, which provides serious gaming muscle for mobile gamers. The system also utilizes Alienware’s BinaryGFX technology that allows users to switch between integrated graphics and the discrete graphics card.
The system also uses a Smart Bay that allows users on-the-fly customization technology with hot-swappable optical drives, secondary hard drives and back up batteries. Some system configurations are available now and prices start at $1499.
