Gateway has announced a visual update to two of its most popular lines of notebook computers. The Gateway M-Series 15.1-inch notebooks and the Gateway T-Series 14.2-inch notebooks are now available in new colors and new designs.

The M-Series was previously available in Garnet Red and Pacific Blue Gateway adds two new colors to the line with Merlot and Silver. The M-series and the T-Series will also now have a new design available called Arctic Bloom, which is wildflowers on a background of icy turquoise blue.

"Our customers responded so well to the jewel-toned colors we introduced last fall that we're expanding the line to offer customers even more choices in a PC that reflects their individuality and tastes," said Todd Titera, Gateway senior manager, notebook PCs. "These new colors - Merlot, Silver and especially Arctic Bloom - have their own unique personality to please the fashion conscious and style-minded."

Gateway says it uses a process called InFuse to inject the color and designs into the notebooks for durable metallic finishes that are sealed for better wear. The new colors are available today starting at $799.99 and going up to $1399.99.
