Panasonic gears up for the expected TV sale bonanza in time for the Olympic Games in Beijing this August. They already announced the feature-packed TH-32LX80 LCD HDTV today. The small 17 inch TH-17LX8 packs almost all the same features making this tiny HDTV pretty powerful.

Features of the 17 inch HDTV include 1,366x768px resolution, intelligent backlight controller, dynamic contrast enhancer, 178 degrees FOV, HD optimizer, 1080/24p HDMI input support, SD card slot, VIERA Link, and IP LAN link. Panasonic will begin shipping the TH-17LX8 in 5 colors starting February 15th. The monthly production is planned to be 30,000 units.
