iRiver seems to actually looking to launch two Personal Video Player. The PMC-100 and the PMP-100.
The iRiver PMC-100 is based on the Microsoft Portable AV Player running Microsoft’s Windows Portable Media Center. the MP4 Player comes with a built-in 20GB or 40GB hard drive, USB2.0 and 3.5 inch TFT LCD color display. The PMC-100 was shown at the CES 2004.
The iRiver PMP-100 is on the other hand running a Linux based OS. It has a different design but the same technical specifications. It also is supposed to come in two hard drive configurations.
The iRivernordic site talks about May - June release dates for both MP4 Players.
