The newest projector from Italian manufacturer SIM2 was announced today. The projector is called the Grand Cinema HT3000 HOST and uses a modular design. The projector portion is compact and the video processor is a separate unit.

The projector uses the latest DLP full HD 1080p chipset. The projector can be linked to the remote video input processor from up to 250 meters or 750 feet. The projector portion of the system only weighs 11kg and measures 435mm square.

The projector is capable of throwing an image of 50-300 inches. Inputs include six HDMI ports, three component inputs, composite inputs, S-video, and RGB and DVI. The projector will be available in February at an undisclosed price.
