Apple Insider reports on speculations that to push iPod sales Apple will introduce new Wi-Fi enabled iPods at lower price points soon.
These speculations about new iPods are from Gene Munster, an analyst covering Apple for investment bank Piper Jaffray.
The analyst sees Apple succeeding at growing the iPod sales despite a general slow-down in the market. To do that Apple will release new Wi-fi enabled iPods with new innovative features at lower price points.
These speculations are pretty reasonable as the currently Wi-Fi enabled iPod touch is rather expensive and other mp3 player makers have cheaper Wi-fi mp3 players on the market.
