Pelican announced its latest hard sided protective case today aimed at photographers. The Pelican StudioCruzer 1510 is billed as the toughest airline-legal carry on available. The case is designed to carry photographic equipment and a laptop.

The case has a modular interior with adjustable compartments that allow you to set the main compartment up to meet your needs for your video or photographic equipment. A lid compartment is sized to carry 13.3-inch notebooks and 15-inch notebooks. The case also has a retractable pull handle and wheels for rolling through an airport.

Like other Pelican cases the 1510 is water proof and buoyant with up to 64.2 pounds of gear inside. That means you can take your equipment on a boat ride or on location without fear of rain or water damaging your expensive equipment. The price for the 1510 is $245.
