A geek’s love for all things Star Wars and George Lucas’ overwhelming desire to license characters from the franchise for any purpose under the sun can’t be denied. Case in point is this latest R2-D2 gadget in the form of a pepper grinder.

That’s right your favorite hologram throwing, beeping little astrodroid can now spice up your food, and make you sneeze at the same time. You slip peppercorns into the little droid body, and then twist his head to grind.

The little grinder stands 4.75-inches tall and is officially licensed. You do have to provide your own peppercorns. What I really want to know is where the matching C3PO salt shaker is. The Rs pepper grinder is $19.99 from ThinkGeek.
