Motorola announced a new Mobile TV product today called the DH01n. While Motorola provided no images, it could be assumed it is very similar in design to the DH01 (pictured) with the addition of navigation capabilities.
The DH01n utilizes advanced navigation capabilities including 2D or 3D and Tele Atlas map views with points of interest and voice activated directions. “Consumers are routinely moving away from traditional primetime video viewing to ‘my time’ experiences - that is they are viewing their favorite programs where and when it is convenient to them,” said Navin Mehta, vice president of Mobile TV and Applications Services, Home & Networks Mobility, Motorola. “The Mobile TV DH01n will provide consumers with the ability to locate where they are going in addition to viewing content when and where they want.”
Features of the DH01n include live broadcast over DVB-H standard, 90 minutes of video on a 256MB card, automatic channel scan and listing, playback of video, music and pictures from MMC card, recording, playback, and pause of live TV signals with secure memory card and up to four hours of playback time.
