Plantronics announced a new Bluetooth headset called the Explorer 370 that uses a rugged design for durability. The 370 is durability tested to meet military-grade specifications and is water, dust, and shock resistant.
The 370 also features windscreen technology to help keep calls clear when outdoors. "Everyday life can be rough on electronics, so Plantronics developed a headset that can be tossed around, dropped repeatedly, worn in the rain and still work properly," said Ron Vitale, category director for Mobile at Plantronics, Inc. "The Explorer 370 delivers a quality headset in a durable package that can withstand tough environments, including windy and dusty work conditions, rugged outdoor adventures or anything life throws at you."
The headset is certified to MIL-STD 810 for ruggedness and uses Plantronics QuickPair technology. Talk time for the 370 is up to seven hours with eight days of standby time. The 370 will be available in March at major retailers for $79.99.
