The Madplayer ships with two rechargeable "AA" NiMH batteries. The Kodak DC290 digital camera uses four "AA" NiMH batteries. Every cutting edge portable digital device unveiled at CES 2003 required a long lasting renewable energy source.
The Juice Battery (available in May) has been designed specifically for the "unplugged generation" whose connected active lifestyle revolves around high drain personal electronics. Winner International, manufacturer of The Club and creator of The Juice Battery Brand, will spend $20 million dollars in the second half of 2003 to promote the coolness factor inside x/y gen gadgets. The hip "refreshing marketing attitude" is geared to appeal to the young tech-savvy, unplugged, portable power hungry, got-to-have-it-now digital consumers.
