Apple is possibly bringing multitouch to older MacBooks as the feature is apparently just software based.
T3 magazine reports that an Apple spokesperson has told them that the MacBook Air's multitouch track pad is software.
Owners of current MacBook and MacBook Pro notebooks can hope that Apple is releasing a software update that enables multitouch on their trackpads.
