Xbox 360 owners who purchased their console systems before Microsoft began updating them all with HDMI ports need not buy a new system to get HDMI support thanks to MadCatz. MadCatz has announced a new HDMI convertor for all Xbox 360 models.
The convertor kit connects easily to the AV Output located on the rear of the console and uses advanced microprocessor technology to convert the analog signal to a digital HDMI stream. This allows the convertor to output all popular resolutions up to full 1080p.
The HDMI convertor is also compatible with HDMI 1.3. The convertor kit also allows the HDMI cable to carry digital sound as well with full multi-channel Dolby Digital and DTS. Users needing an optical audio connection to their receivers can use the built-in optical out on the convertor. The convertor kit is available now for $89.99.
