Palit Microsystems is said to be in progress to acquire Hong Kong-based graphics card vendor, Galaxy.
Palit is an OEM graphics card maker shipping over 10 million graphics cards a year.
The reason for the Galaxy purchase would be apparently an excess Nvidia chip inventory that Palit cannot sell to other companies. With the purchase of Galaxy they could pass the chips to the new subsidiary.
