Samsung announced a new laser printer today aimed at professional workgroups that has a very fast print speed of 40 ppm. The multifunction device can also scan and copy in addition to printing. Features include a standard 100 sheet automatic duplex document feeder that holds over 2,700 pages.

The 40 ppm print speed is in full color at 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution. The printer can be controlled from a 7-inch touch screen as well. An internal 80Gb hard drive inside the printer allows for collate printing, proof printing and more. The multi-function device also sends faxes. The price is as large as the feature list at an MSRP of $4999.
