"We are delighted that TUL is using the most advanced graphics memory on the market today to enhance the performance of its PowerColor HD 3870 X2," said Mueez Deen, marketing director, graphics memory, Samsung Semiconductor, Inc. "With the Samsung GDDR4, PowerColor is providing animation with faster speeds and amazing clarity," he added.
The GDDR4 cards will have a core clock of 825MHz and 640 stream processing units. Samsung claims that its GDDR4 is 70% faster than the memory used in today’s gaming console systems. The PowerColor HD 3750 X2 with GDDR4 is now shipping.
