On the morning of the start of the E3 2004 Game Industry Trade-show the first Nintendo DS Photo appeared in USA Today.

I am still a bit sceptical as the article refers to the new handheld Game Console as Nintendo DS.

There where comments from Nintendo officials that this will not be the final name. We will know for sure in a couple of hours when the first life reports come in from the E3 show floor.
The photo of the Nintendo DS is not very impressive. The fake designs that popped up on the web where actually more exciting.
The article mentions that one of the two 3-inch screens is touch-sensitive and works with a stylus. Also that the Nintendo DS will have bluetooth and will sell for around $150.
