Sanyo announces the LP-XW60 Projector, which they claim to be the smallest and lightest LCD projector.

Measurements of the Sanyo LP-XW60 are 264x188x55mm.
This is pretty small indeed. There are other projector technologies that enable smaller projectors and we've already been promised projectors in our mobile phones any time soon.


The Sanyo LP-XW60 Projector supports resolutions up to 1,024x728 and 2,000lm brightness. Projection of a 100-inch screen is possible from distances of 2.7m-3.3m, enabling projector use even in limited spaces.

Sanyo will start selling the LP-XW60 starting on April 21st in Japan for 207,900 Yen (~$2,030).
