The rumor that Apple will eventually use Intel chipset on the iPhone got refreshed again.
This time the Inquirer got the fuel for the Intel rumor from a Intel slide showed during CeBIT.
The Intel Moorstown (next generation of Menlow) would be running smartphones. The slide shows an iPhone as representation of a smartphone.
Of course the use of the iPhone could be just an artistic choice of the intern who put together this slide.
In any case, because Apple moved their PCs and notebooks to Intel, it makes perfect sense to also do this for the iPhone at some point. Currently the iPhone runs an ARM CPU made by Samsung.
More details on the Inquirer.
