Blockbuster announced today that it will have a game to go along with the Stephen King film The Mist available on its website for visitors to play. The game lets players play though levels based on three scenes from the film.
Players have to fight off the creatures that live in the mist to survive. Players who make it through all three levels of the game will gain access to a sneak peak of an exclusive Stephen King interview that will be included in full on the DVD released on March 25th.
Blockbuster also announced that it will be the exclusive rental place for the film. That really sucks for anyone living in an area where a Blockbuster isn’t handy. I hate it when Blockbuster uses its clout to wrangle exclusive movie rentals.
