The device is preloaded with translating dictionaries. The LCD is a high-resolution 5-inch unit that claims to be able to provide large text for reading and the device weighs only 7 ounces. The device has a SD card slot for storage and an internal rechargeable battery for power. Books marks and auto page turn functionality are offered as well. Pricing for the device is $349.95.
ECTACO, Inc. President and CEO David Lubinitsky recently announced that, "The new jetBook(R) now makes it possible to carry around a complete library -- from novels to technical documents, even children's books and poetry. This completely amazing device lets you sit down and read more comfortably than ever before. It really is the book of the future and fully eco-friendly. Not a single tree was cut down to make it!"
