Smartphones are great devices but often the small size of the keyboards they use makes sending and replying to emails and text messages a pain. Jott has a new service for BlackBerry devices that allows users to respond to email with voice.

To use the free beta Jott reply with voice application BlackBerry users must download and install a small application from Jott. It adds a Reply with Jott option to the full email reply menu. To use all that is needed is to select the Jott option and speak your reply. Jott turns the spoken message into text and places it into the email.

Jott Networks CEO John Pollard commented, "Staying on top of email is beneficial for people on the move. Reply with Jott can dramatically increase the speed and richness of replying to email, and frees up time for other things. Reply with Jott is consistent with our goal to provide mobile professionals with simple organization and communications solutions that fit within their workflow."
