Today we are reviewing a Pleo robot dinosaur from UGOBE. This robot is packed with sensors and joints to allow it to be aware of its environment and move like a real dinosaur.
The idea is that rather than being a static toy like a stuffed animal the Pleo will interact with its people and learn and evolve as it is played with. The Pleo pulls this all off nicely as well.
Review excerpt: “The robot has 14 servo joints for its torso, head, tail, neck and legs. Pleo also has 38-touch, sound and tilt sensors on its mouth, hear, chest, shoulders, back and feet along with 8 toe sensors. Other features include music beat detection and autonomous interaction. Pleo also has different moods including anger, boredom, playfulness, hunting, cautious, cuddling, fatigue, hunger, and more.” Read the full Pleo review here.
