Sony is announcing not to release any new PDAs for US and Europe.
I guess we soon will see dumping prices on the current Sony CLIE models.
This is not good news for Palm Source. The Clie PDA runs Palm OS, developed by PalmSource, which is 6 percent owned by Sony.
The reason for the supending the efforts are most likely linked to the flat market development for PDAs.
More details on Brighthand, ZDNet UK and Palm InfoCenter.
