Wii Fit to be in short Supply

Nintendo will start shipping the Wii Fit starting May 21st. Amazon.com has already put a purchase limit policy in place for the Wii Fit arguing that there shortages of this product across the U.S.
Amazon only allows three Wii Fit accessories per household.
In March we reported that Nintendo plans a huge marketing blitz for the Wii Fit release and increases the monthly Wii supply by 150,000 consoles. Maybe Nintendo should skip the advertisement offensive if the Wii Fit shortage claims are true.
The Nintendo managed to sell 720,000 Wii consoles last month. It is still a now show at online retailers and customer still have to work with notification services or pay the premium on eBay or other 3rd party vendors.
It is questionable if the increase by 150,000 consoles will solve the shortage - especially if Nintendo runs a massive marketing campaign.
