Most of the time it is not a good sign when a company changes or updates its logo. Japanese carrier DoCoMo is no exception. DoCoMo is slowly losing its huge market share to smaller players on the Japanese mobile phone market.

If the new more round and red colored logo will help stop this trend is questionable.
DoCoMo says about the new logo: "The new logo's color is red, which symbolizes the company's energy and dynamism. The logo, along with other branding elements, embodies DoCoMo's commitment to achieve customer satisfaction by understanding the needs of customers and building stronger relationships with them, and to maximize the creativity of the company's workforce and remain a leading innovator in the mobile communications industry."
