MySpace users get a new video chat application today called SightSpeed from SightSpeed Incorporated. SightSpeed says it is the first company to offer integrated video mail, public video posting and free video chat to MySpace members.
The application was built with the new MySpace developer Platform. With the application users can have real time voice chats or threaded video posts where videos are recorded and posted in a chat style. Users would create a video post on a subject and then other members of their friends group could post a video response.
"SightSpeed Light is a great example of the way we intended developers to use the MySpace Developer Platform to create innovative and useful tools for our users," said Kyle Brinkman, vice president and general manager, MySpace Developer Platform. "Our end goal is to enrich our users' experience through unique and engaging applications, like SightSpeed Light, and we look forward to watching the MySpace Developer Platform continue to evolve."
