New DiskOnKey Flash Drive Scores 23MB/s read

M-systems, the patent holder to the USB flash drive technology, has developed its fifth generation ASIC in which optimizations push DiskOnKey performance to 23MB/s read and 15MB/s write. This is a 150% improvement over the T4 ASIC, which tops at 9MB/s read and 7MB/s write. And this is also over 50% faster than the new Sandisk Cruzer Titanium.
