If you ever wished that you could get Tiger Woods’ performance coach to give you some tips on your own golf game, now you can. EA announced that Hank Haney appears in the latest Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 video game to lead players through their careers.

EA also says that the 09 version of the game features more intuitive and customized EA Sports Gamer Net++ experience and has a new game engine powering online play. Haney assists players as they try to hit the links and advance their game career. Haney also gives customized feedback after each round to the player. Online play has also been improved to allow up to four players to play the same hole at once to make rounds go faster.

"Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 09 is the most authentic golf video game on the market, and we're excited to bring an immersive experience to the masses," said Executive Producer Mike Taramykin. "Our partnership with Hank Haney provides fans immediate coaching from one of the top minds in golf.
