The first Crank movie with Jason Statham was a total trip. The sequel dubbed Crank: High Voltage could be even cooler as the production shoots with up to 12 HD cameras you can by in stores.
The key is the high number of cameras which sure enables them to make even more mind boggling video moves in the second Crank movie.
The Crank: High Voltage film team uses Canon XH-A1 and the cheaper Canon HF10.
Collider (Via Gizmodo) has published an interview with writer/directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor on why they shoot with consumer cameras.
Crank: High Voltage is set for a 2009 release, shooting just began.
