Windows XP SP3 feels snappier and tighter

On Wednesday Microsoft made the Windows XP SP3 available on Windows Update. Since I am not as daring as I was when I was younger, I waited until then to install XP SP3 on my PC.
The first good news is that everything still works and the upgrade of the Service Pack 3 went down without issues.
It has been two days since the update and it might just be me, but XP feels better than before. There are less delays in file explorer ops and overall things seem snappier to me.
All day long I have tons of browser windows and Outlook email windows open, plus several Office applications and other tools to publish on I4U News.
So far I can recommend taking the time and upgrading your trusty XP system with SP3. Do not forget to backup though. It is a major upgrade after all and things can go bad, or the power could fail just in the right moment during the upgrade process to brick your PC.
Update:
There are reports that apparently more and more users are having severe problems with XP SP3. So backup before you upgrade.
What is your XP SP3 verdict? Post it below in our new comments system.
