HP is supposedly close to a deal to acquire EDS for some $12 billion to $13 billion reports the WSJ.
Update:
HP and EDS Deal official
An announcement of the deal is expected soon. HP and EDS declined to comment so far.
EDS would help HP to compete better against IBM.
