If you were looking at the PHS300 from CradlePoint that I posted earlier and though it would be better if it could work with Express Card modems as well you are in luck. CradlePoint announced a new device today called the CTR500 Travel Router.
This device can work with compatible USB handsets and has an Express Card slot allowing the use of Express Card broadband modems. When either the phone or Express Card modem is plugged in the connectivity is shared via an 802.11b/g wireless network.
The router also has a 10/100 Ethernet port and can be used to provide wireless failover in the event of a lost Internet connection. Security for the wireless network is via WPA2 and other methods and the router allows for VPN pass-through as well. The CTR500 is set to release on June 1st at $179.99.
