Mtron announced today that is has completed development on its fastest line of SSD drives called the Pro 7500 line. The SSDs in the line are available in 32GB to 128GB capacities and are available in both 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch sizes.

All versions of the drive use the SATA II interface and can provide a maximum read speed of 130MB/s and a write speed of 120MB/s. According to Mtron that makes the Pro 7500 series the fastest SSD in the market.

Mtron says the drives are aimed at industrial use and will be available in June. Mtron says that the fast SSDs also need 60% less power than a conventional HDD. There is no word on pricing for the line at this time.
