Mitsubishi Announces New XD211U Projector

Mitsubishi announced a new entry level projector for business and education markets called the XD211U. The projector has a native resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels and uses the latest DLP technology from Texas Instruments with a DDP 2230 DMD chip.
The projector is small and weighs only 6 pounds. Features include instant shutoff and an efficient lamp lasting up to 3000 hours. Brightness for the projector is 2200 lumens and the projector has an auto search feature that finds input sources automatically. The projector will retail for $1595.
"We consider our XD211U an entry-level projector with high-level specifications," said Wayne Kozuki, product manager, Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America's Presentation Products Division. "The combination of features and high brightness makes this projector perfect for office and school environments."
