As reported the iPhone is not available anymore on the online Apple store. AT&T has restricted iPhone sales briefly to one iPhone per customer this week. Since Thursday the restriction has ended again and is back to the normal 3 iPhones per customer limit.
AT&T wanted to make sure everyone who wanted an iPhone gets one, but I guess they figured quickly that demand is not that high right now and they should be happy if a customer walks in and wants to buy 3 iPhones.
The 3G iPhone is around the corner. Even if you do not have 3G coverage in your area, the new iPhone might have new features like GPS.
