More Notebooks and PCs News
The Intel Atom based Asus Eee PC 901 has not officially announced and specifications just trickle in through rumors.
What we know so far is very little. The Asus Eee 901 features a 8.9 inch screen, Bluetooth, metal alloy parts to the keyboard and hinge. Asus is supposed to launch the Eee 901 in June. Some photos of the Asus Eee PC 901 appeared also already.
Digitimes reports now that Asus is not integrating WiMAX in the Asus Eee 901.
Asus has originally planned to roll-out the 901 with WiMAX, but thinks the WiMAX market does not reach maturity in 2008. Despite the recent WiMAX deal in the U.S., I agree with that. It will still take a while until WiMAX coverage is reasonably large.
There still will be other notebooks from Asus with WiMAX support this year.
