Logitech announced a new mobile speaker system today that promises to turn your low-fi mobile phone music into hi-fi sound called the Logitech Pure-Fi Mobile speaker system. The system allows you to listen to music from your mobile phone without having to dock or plug your phone into the speakers.
The system works with Bluetooth A2DP enabled phones to wirelessly stream sound to the speakers with a range of up to 33 feet. The system has 2-inch drivers and dual 2-inch pressure drivers. You can also use the speaker system to send and receive calls. Two mics are built-in to pick up your voice and cancel background noise.
Other features include a protective case and the system is powered by a rechargeable battery pack good for 12 hours of playback. The system also includes a 3.5mm audio jack for non-Bluetooth sources. The Pure-Fi Mobile is set to launch in June for $149.99.
