Video games and Plumbers go together like Nintendo and geeks. The most popular video game plumber ever would definitely be Mario. A real plumber training center is actually using video game tech to train real life plumbers.
Train4Trade skills has created a virtual reality house where students can fix plumbing problems they are likely to encounter in the real world. They get to fix virtual stopped up toilets before going into someone’s home.
"Everyone has seen or played a computer game and we're all very familiar with the technology. Using it to practice a skill, such as how to diagnose and remedy a burst pipe, helps endorse what has been learnt during the written, theory part of the course." I’d be a bit worried about a professor who uses “Learnt” in a quote for his school myself.
