Best Buy started to list the Insignia Blu-ray Player NS-BRDVD.
The $349.99 Insignia Blu-ray player is not a real price breaker yet, but it's getting there.
The features of the Insignia Blu-ray player include 1080p upconversion, Dolby Digital Plus, DTS-HD high-resolution surround, and lossless Dolby TrueHD (2-channel).
There is no mentioned on if the Insignia Blu-ray player supports BD-Live and with that the latest Blu-ray profile. I assume not - preventing this Blu-ray player from being a great choice. You can for less right away opt for a brand-name Blu-ray player like the Samsung BD-P1400 that sells for around $330.
Or you can opt for one of the first Blu-ray players (Panasonic DMP-BD30) that support the final Blu-ray profile and with that BD-Live and PIP.
Best Buy does not specify a shipping date yet. More details on the Insignia Blu-ray player product page. Via Engadget.
