Michel Fournier's record skydiving project failed today, because the balloon left the capsule with Fournier behind.
The very expensive balloon was recovered 40km off the launch area. The Michel Fournier team will give a press conference later to detail what went wrong.
As reported earlier, Michel Fournier actually planned to do the record sky dive yesterday, but strong winds did not allow it.
It is unclear at the moment if he can try again.
