Sony is announcing the Sountina NSA-PF1 high-end glass speaker system.
The unique Sony Sountina uses an organic glass tube that vibrates with a single three-dimensional depth producing clear (glass-clear?) sound in 360 degrees.
Sony not only gives you superior sound with the Sountina but also dramatic style. The glass tube can also be illuminated with the choice of three colors: blue, amber, and purple to match the room atmosphere.
Some core data of the Sountina includes 50-20,000Hz frequency spectrum, 85W power consumption, Coaxial, Optical, Linear PCM, and analog Line-in connectors.
The Sony Sountina glass speakers measure 325x1845x325mm and weigh a solid 12.5kg.
The Sony Sountina NSA-PF1 speaker system will go on sale in Japan on June 20th for 1,050,000 Yen (~$10,000).
