Quake has been one of the most popular and longest running FPS shooter franchises on the PC for a long time. The latest installment is Enemy Territory: Quake Wars and PC gamers have been happily playing away on one of the best multiplayer shooters for a long time now.

ID has now released Quake Wars for the Xbox 360 and the PS3. Console gamers who like multiplayer shooters will want to get this game soon. Like the PC version Quake Wars is set in 2065 and is based on team missions and requires different player classes to win.

Only certain player classes can achieve certain game goals and without all the classes winning the game is impossible. Quake Wars does include a single player game, but the multiplayer play is where the fun is. The game is rated T for teen.
