The developer team of Google's Android allowed a glimpse into the current state of the mobile phone OS.
The Android Community site published several videos and tons of screen-shots of an Android phone prototype that Google showed at the IO conference.
Google did not reveal the name of the phone maker but said that the Android phone prototype runs on a 528Mhz Qualcomm CPU and supports 3G HSDPA networks. The current prototype has a Synaptics capacitive touchscreen, 128MB of RAM and 256MB of flash.
Google still says that the first version of Android will be released in the 2nd half of this year as open-source.
One of the videos shows Pac-man on the Android phone. See the videos and images on the Android Community site.
