Asus rocked Computex 2008 already with their new Asus Eee PC 901 and Asus Eee PC 1000. The company underlined its innovator status by showing off some new technologies from their R&D department at the Computex this week.

Asus showed off a new interface technology called VirtualReal interface. The technology presents itself to the user as a minimalistic interface that makes controlling and interacting with computers convenient and easy.
At first glance, the VirtualReal interface is seemingly non-existent, but when users start moving their hands in front of the built-in camera, the "magic" begins. VirtualReal combines several new innovations to provide users with an alternative and unique form of computing operation. VirtualReal is able to make use of motion sensor abilities to pick up the user's hand movements through the built-in camera (much like the talked-about scene in the sci-fi movie Minority Report); while through an intuitive touch screen and touchpad interface, it is also able to provide users with brand new user experiences like never before.

When Asus will incorporate this cool UI concept into there products is of course up in the air.
