Would you like to visit Disney World for free and not have to deal with any crowds at all? Google Earth now has an interactive, 3D tour of Disney World available to help people plan their vacations and check out Disney World sights.
The goal of the 3D theme park is to make it easier for visitors to plan and book trips to Disney World. Users can virtually tour the four theme parks and the 22 resorts and hotels on the park grounds. Those with Google Earth 4.3 installed can see the 3D park by enabling the Gallery folder. Rendering the 3D park took over 100,000 images and resulted in 1,500 3D models of popular attractions.
"You know the phrase 'next best thing to being there'? Walt Disney World Resort in 3D is going to deliver on that," said Jay Rasulo, chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. "Guests and travel planners can now explore our world with just a few clicks of a mouse, and they can book vacations while being immersed in what the destination has to offer."
